
It was a season of jubilation and funfair in Akure the Ondo state capital on Friday 18th of November,2022 where Barrister Olumuyiwa Adu a PDP stalwart hosted PDP faithful, donates campaign buses, office & souvenirs to Akure Group 2023 for Atiku/Okowa presidential campaign.

- It was a convivial gathering of political like- minds who thronged in their hundreds to the newly donated office located at Oyemekun road Akure to flag off the Presidential ambition of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
Recall that the Donor- Barrister Olumuyiwa Adu is a member of the People’s Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) who has made remarkable impact since his foray into political terrain as the former candidate of House of Representatives in the February Akure North/ Akure South Federal Constituency bye- election.
Different speakers at the event including the Coordinator of the formidable pressure group 2023, Prince Tony Ala as well as Hon. Dele Faboro, Comrade Safe, Hon. Taye Jombo & Barrister Adu himself spoke on the imperatives of Atiku’s victory that will release Nigerians from the manacles of slavery, suffering & socio- economic dislocation, short life expectancy & insecurity among other symptoms of backwardness that have inflicted our once prosperous country since the unfortunate inception of the ruling APC.
Barrister Adu also spoke, inter alia, on the pros & cons of purposeful leadership at all levels & the dangerous effects of docility of followers. He advised against divisive politics & politics of bitterness as these may jeopardise the electoral fortune of the party if not quickly addressed.
The philanthropist promised to contribute immeasurably to the electoral victory of Alhaji Atiku- the solution to the hydra- headed problems of Nigeria
Present at this epochal event are Akure South political leaders across the 11 political wards, Akure South Local Government executive officers, party members/ sympathisers & representatives of Eyitayo Jegede Volunteers Group ( EVG), PDP Ward 2Ward Atiku Support Group, Concerned Women In Politics, Adu Women Support Group, ACCOMORAN, NURTW among other grassroots mobilisation formations.
